Well, it's been a while since I blogged, so figured it was time to catch up.

I got a new job at the post office. This is the first job I've had outside the house in 6 1/2 years, so I'm thrilled to be able to expect a steady income. Before I started improving my health, I could not have done this job. Though the work is done seated, there is a lot of walking involved. I frequently have to walk the equivalent of over a large city block, just to get in from the parking lot, and the building is huge, and I'm required to change locations within the building frequently. Some days I'm amazed at the distances I walk in a night...further than I used to walk in a month! I'm starting to feel like a "normal" person, rather than someone whose weight is a disability.

Anyway, I finished training modules for the new job about 20 hours early, and tonight, I got my work edited, and had 100% accuracy!

On the weight loss front, I finally broke below 370. That is 150 lbs total weight loss, and I weigh less than I have in at least 15 years!!!

Tonight I got my first paycheck, and treated myself to pizza...but I did it healthy. No deep pan supreme with extra cheese. I opted for thin crust veggie lovers. It tasted awesome, and was so much more healthy than my poor-habit choices.

Now if I could just figure out how to get enough sleep every night!!!

Time to get to bed and try.

Thanks to all my spark friends for your support and motivation, and for providing me with a sense of accountability.
