It's a New Month

Okay, so I like new things! I feel a sense of renewed energy at the start of a new month. I know we are ten days in, but it also takes me a little while to "warm up." I am just very pleased that I am still with SparkPage, mostly on a daily basis, unless I am out of town and don't have access. In the past, I might have stuck with a weight loss plan for two to three months. Now I am on my fourth month and still at it!!

I haven't lost as much weight as I thought I would have by now. But, the good news, is that the weight I have lost feels more permanently gone! Hasta la vista, Baby!

What is the merit in losing weight super fast only to gain it all back plus more? Can't tell you how many times I've done that! So this is a new chapter in my life: slow, methodical weight loss. No, it is not quite as exciting as going at "The Biggest Loser" pace. But for me, it is real, and that is what makes me content. One pound gone, is really one pound GONE! Hallelujah!!
