Is cleaning considered cardio?

Sunday, September 14, 2008

I worked up quite a sweat today my shirt was literally wet. I cleaned for about 3 hours today mopping floors, cleaning glass, organizing cabinets. I was wondering if thats all part of cardio and how do I log that in?...LOL!

Good for you cleaning and getting exercise. On the spark points page, click on add cardio, then browse, then home activities, then cleaning should be there. Yes siree, it counts. It should count as double because I HATE to clean. I love a clean house, I just wish it would get that way by magic each night when I go to sleep.

I am sure that is.. I would see if it is in there to actually log.
Other than that.. I would manually put it in..
I would only place a time in for the most strenuous part of what you did today.
    Great Job!!!
    Keep in touch..
We can get through this together.. LOL emoticon

If it's not, it should be. I always need a shower from the sweat I work up from cleaning too. I can relate to your question very much! Unfortunately, I don't know the anwser but would like to if you find out. Have a wonderful day! emoticon

in the "add cardio" section of the fitness page, there is a browse button. Then there is a home activities, or something like that. Under that is "heavy cleaning". Try that.
