A colleague looked at me this afternoon and told me I look like I've lost a lot of weight. This is the first time someone (who didn't know I was working on weight loss) noticed. Very cool. Very very cool. Oh, and I ran 11 elliptical miles this weekend and felt great!
In my yoga class tonight, I was in child's pose and wiggled slightly to stretch out my lower back. Something in my left knee twinged. It twinged again in warrior II. Again when walking to the car. Portents of doom: I don't remember any pain when I hit a wall (racquetball) -- and I still managed to lose my ACL. Did I happen to mention that this new twinge is in the LCL area . . . of the same knee? I have my leg propped up with an ice pack and refuse to panic. Here's hoping I don't wake up with a knee the size of a basketball or with my lower leg dangling like Raggedy Ann's.
Have I mentioned how much I hate Mondays?
