Day 3 of 18, feeling a little crispy

So yesterday I did get my run in, I did 3 mins warmup, ran 1.6 miles without stopping, and then alternated running and walking up to 2 miles. I think I might actually be able to do 2 miles straight soon. I tried doing hardcore intervals (most of the time at 5.0, up to 5.7 for a minute, then back to 4.7) but it just about killed me so I just did smaller ones (5.0, 5.3 for a minute, then 4.7 for a minute). I wonder how that will translate to the track when I go back there...hmmm...

I am missing terribly DDR but it's good to get some variety. Let me tell you, I'm glad I'm not trying to do hour workouts because 30-35 mins of running/walking is all I can handle. I did do a crap ton of core exercises (crunches with weights, v-ups, side crunches, and supermans, 3 sets) and found out that I can easily bench 35 lbs (was in a hurry to leave, so didn't try more). I can't help but to think that is totally wussy - what is respectable for a girl to bench? I think my guy friend working out with me was doing around 50-70 but I can't be sure. I did have to grab the bar once for him and lift it up and it felt pretty heavy. I think I'll add 5-10 lbs when I go back tomorrow and see if I can't still put that bar up.

Yesterday I just could not eat as much as I had allowed myself. 1250 calories or so was all I needed. Sure, I could have eaten more if I tried or ate a bunch of junk, but I was satiated. Maybe the exercise reduction will just naturally set my consume level to where it should be to keep losing steadily like I am now. I will believe it when I see it a couple days in a row. I am at a new low today of 187.6, so I'll at least weigh in this week with a 1.2 lbs loss. As long as I can keep that up during crunch I'll be pleased.

Today, I simply need to make it through the day, and tonight I'm heading home to relax after work. Not sure what that entails, but probably a few episodes of battlestar and hopefully a backrub! Then Thursday is another long day with a workout, Friday is another long day and then home to have fun, and Saturday is a short day, a workout, then bbq fun at our house! Ugh it seems so long that way. I'll just go to the stats. See ya later!

    Sounds pretty impressive, the running. And I bet you'll find you can lift far more than you thought. I was carrying 100pound Ikea boxes up stairs over my head in some cases yesterday with my husband, long countertop boxes, and I could do it without too much trouble. I was glad when it was over though, to be honest.
