Happy Anniversary to Me! 5 Years!!

Five years ago today, I started working out regularly... and I have not stopped. It is now part of who I am, part of my lifestyle forever.
When I had my first son, it took me 6 mo. to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. Eight months after having my 2nd son, I still had about 8 extra pounds. (The picture was taken when he was about 4 mo old.) I was not going to accept that weight forever just because I had had babies. I bought the book Body for Life to get started, wrote down some goals and why I wanted a fit healthy lifestyle. I am still inspired by those same things today.
I am proud of my fitness lifestyle choices and I know it can be done with persistence, consistency and some discipline. That said, I do still have sweets every day, cocktails & other indulgences. The balance allows me to fully enjoy life.
So, it is year 5 of a consistent lifestyle that includes working out and good food choices. Many many more anniversaries are to follow. Woo Hoo!!
