Feels like my energy is being sucked by a black hole

So I have a problem, I just feel like I never have energy. I'm always exhausted, achy, etc... When I do have energy its during the work day while I'm at a desk. I think part of my energy problem is the hubby is the same way. We work, we're exhausted, we nap, wake up and watch a few shows, back to bed. I normally get my workout done on weekends. I do have some dumbbells now that I should try to use at home. It's just I feel so drained. Been getting my water w/o a prob lately. Fruit/veggie servings not a prob b/c of V8 Vfusion. My biggest obstacle is exercise. Wish I had a local friend to workout with. Wish I could get the hubby to exercise with me.

    That's how I am feeling today. I tried to do some leg exercising while at my desk but I kicked over my trash can....whoops lol. Well maybe tomorrow since its Saturday I can get in some walking and strength exercises.

    I have the same problem. By the time I get home from work, I'm so beat that I don't want to do anything. I'm trying to convince myself that it's OK to do just a couple minutes of exercise. Two minutes on my stair stepper is better than nothing, after all. It would be easier with a buddy, I agree. I wish I had one, too. Good luck to you!

    (i used to feel that way before i lowered my carbs. i was just telling my boyfriend how lowering my carbs has changed my life. at first it was painful and i didn't think i'd make it but now that i'm staying around 202 grams of carbs per day [45% of my daily calories], i hardly ever feel sleepy or sluggish during the day. i would never have guessed the sugars were doing that to me.

    but because i've been sick for over a week, i don't feel like my usual energetic self.

    Oh my I've been there. That's EXACTLY how I felt when I started this. It's the routine we've all gotten into. I'm still slowly breaking my bad habits. I began by doing my Tae Bo Cardio VHS one day after work per week. I felt so good after doing that, I went up to 2 days per week. A few weeks later I went up to 3. It takes time to destroy/modify our old bad habits.

    Personally, I find that when I get home, I have to take off the work clothes, put my sneakers on right away, pop in the VHS (every Mon, Wed & Fri), let the dog out on her run and then do my 45 minute workout or else I will NEVER do it! If I let my butt touch the couch even for 5 minutes, it drains all my energy out my back-side and I don't do a darn thing.
