Weston, Tyler & JasperMy great-great-grandfather grew up in this small town in Germany.Me and my hubbyBaby bunny born by the front door that we helped saveLet's get real, LOL!A funny photo of my dog Weston sleeping. Doesn't look comfortable to me, but obviously he was fine with it. LOLOur smoky sky in the Denver area. Already has been bad due to a months-long fire still burning north of us, today a new one broke out in the foothills west of Boulder. No rain or snow in the forecast and drought conditions extreme. Not good.Ordered a new fridge today - we were shocked discovered that because of COVID, most models are on backorder for months. Pretty sure our 1988 Montgomery Wards one is dying, so we kept searching until we found one that can be delivered next Thursday.Getting mine today - don't forget to get yours too, ladies! :)Proudly flying the flag my brother sent from Iraq. Thanks to all who have ever served, here and abroad!I love how Denver lights up the City and County building for the holidays! When I started my weight loss journey, I switched my snacking from candy and chips to snap peas. Later I switched to grapes. Now I realize I need to pay more attention to more than just calories - both grapes and snaps are low in calories, but I'm getting way too much sugar and too little fiber from grapes. I've been eating as many grapes as I wanted to, which I think is a big reason my weight loss has slowed to a crawl. Back to snaps and a set amount!Trying to convince myself it's OKAY to change doctors. I just switched to a different specialist and feel weird/guilty about it...when I shouldn't! Anyone else have that issue?OMG, I just spent 4 hours on the phone and computer both trying to get appointments for COVID vaccinations. No wonder a lot of seniors aren't able to do this themselves.Just a funny for today...My before and after (and still in progress). 1st photo in 9/15 when I was still putting on weight, 2nd photo today wearing an old work shirt I haven't been able to wear in close to 20 years. Fitbit says I've walked 5,214 miles in my 2-yr journey to get healthier!Me in 9/15 while I was still putting on weight and 3/21 after 2 yrs of working to get healthier.Typical Denver spring snow - doesn't take much to do a lot of tree damage because it is so moisture heavy! Luckily not my car, but we did lose 3 limbs. So true!Only a dog would find it comfortable to sleep with their butt up in the air like this, LOL - my dog TylerNice walk with my sister and we found some folks who have decorated their fence with all sorts of creative designs from golf balls from their nearby golf course - cute!I forgot to put my Fitbit back in my pocket after my shower, so many steps not logged. Doh, I hate it when I do that!Sweet of my hubby but now I have to make up for it big time! I'd better get a LOT of steps today!
