My grand daughter and I say "Good afternoon". I did good at work today. They always have free donuts and fruit in the breakroom. I passed on the donuts and ate grapes, a Halo orange, and drank water instead of pop or chocolate milk. :)Starting Jan 1, 2018 at 222 pounds.Applesauce/oatmeal muffins for todays healthy snack. Yes, I had one, right before I did 2 dance work outs with Body Groove Dance Fitness.This is what I need to start telling myself on a daily basis.A little motivation.My breakfast this morning. 2 scrambled eggs with mini sweet peppers and green onion, with fresh spinach mixed in.I seem to have a lot of bad days lately. :(I seem to have a lot of bad days lately. :(My employers provides a big rack of freshly baked donuts and a big basket of fresh fruit for us every Friday. We have to track at least 150 minutes of activity per week in our fitness log, and tonight, we start tracking our food. Here's to learning to be more accountable for myself!!Took my 2 yr old granddaughter to open gym day for toddlers at our rec. center this morning. They were pretty snug the day I tried them on, today was the first day I actually wore them and found I had a little more room.I went into a really bad place over Christmas, dealing with some very personal issues. So this is me on Dec. 29, 2018. 6 pounds gained back, and not feeling the best about myself right now. But, I need to go into 2019 hoping for the best, and make the new year more about me.
So, Happy New Year, and, goodbye to this 326 pound me!!I lost 2.4 pounds since my last SP weigh-in! I am starting 2019 at 323.6 pounds. I looked at my medical records, and, I weighed almost 350 pounds just 6 short months ago. It feels good to know that I can be below the 300 mark in 6 more months with continued hard work. I got this!! is a new me!!I did a major overhaul on my cabinets today and disposed of a lot of unneeded junk. Didn't realize I had that many bags of dried beans though until I went to put them on the shelf. FYI, the candy bar you see in the pic, is my husbands, not mine. I need to go shopping a buy healthy foods to restock.Ok Spark Friends, I have a question. I was given this package of salmon today and there are no directions on the box. Do any of you know how I can use this. Is it pre-cooked, or do I need to cook it? Apparently it is an Aldi brand, and I really don't want to waste it. Going to start slow, this will be the first time since my heart attack last June that I've been able to go.My first day back at the gym was a short one. I only managed a little over 12 minutes on a treadmill, and gradually increased the incline to a point where I was actually feeling it in my legs. But, I am proud of myself, 12 minutes of physical activity is better the none.I was out shopping yesterday and found this bread which is actually really good. So one slice of this, a bowl of 100% whole grain oatmeal, one sausage patty and a glass of 100% OJ for breakfast this morning, and I'm still full. :)I gained back 2.4 pounds since my last weigh-in. It didn't help that I was pretty much snowed in over the week end and decided to have pizza delivered because I couldn't get to the grocery store. Time for me to get busy and shovel my way out today.day 5 of my streak for "Log in and spin the SparkPoints wheel" earned 1/15/2019No more buying already pre-made veggie burgers from the freezer section at Walmart. Sodium levels are way too high. I started making my own yesterday. Yummy!! LOLBreakfast: oatmeal with fresh strawberries and blackberries for sweetener. No sugar added!!!My motivation for getting healthy. Woke up still feeling stuffy in my head and chest but the fever broke last night while I was sleeping. So, I'm taking that as a good sign. I did some squats this morning while making breakfast and I'll be doing leg lifts, and other chair exercises as well today. Made some yummy black bean/butternut squash enchiladas for lunch today.Third day with no soda. Feeling good about myself. Just finished 1L of Clear American Water,(Fuji Apple). Starting to get a little more energy back.Had this beautiful girl over the weekend. I am worn out. I don't call her my personal trainer for nothing. She does not like it when I sit down for even a minute,Starting the day off right!!Using a smaller bowl for my Raisin Bran and strawberries this morning.A light breakfast for me this morning. No sugar or butter added, just fresh strawberries. Since I have decided not to drink soda, I figure I might as well cut back on all sugar, (chocolate included. :( )Spending some time with this cutie today. Going for lunch with her, her momma and other grandma.Went out with my daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and other grandma. I think I did good. Steamed veggies and chicken. Brought half home for lunch today.Hubby treated me to breakfast at our favorite restaurant this morning. Veggie omelette only. No hash browns, toast or soda. Plus I only ate half of it.Good Morning!!! Another pound gone! Woo-Hoo! Down to 318.6. Happy June 1st! Started my month off with a healthy protein packed breakfast, a mile walk and 10 minutes on my stationary bike. It's 11am and I'm on my 3rd bottle of water. Time for chores.Not a real big lunch today. Scrambled eggs with a black bean/peppers/onion hash. Ready for the day. Happy Sunday y'all!Changed breakfast up a little this morning, made a veggie omelet with green/red sweet peppers, onions, mushrooms and black beans and low fat cheese. I'm not the best at making omelets, but this tasted pretty good.I was given a Weslow Momentum 750 Elliptical over the weekend. OMG I need to build up my stamina. A little over 2 minutes and I'm already out of breath.
