March 2020drove home up my favorite stetch of PCH- pull our at Point Mugu and the feel of the ocean spray on my face was glorious!is enjoying a lovely evening on the patioour walk this afternoon, so pretty and peaceful, the crowds weren't there, They were eating at the sidewalk cafes that reopened, packed, no distancing as we drove by.took a beach walk to enjoy the low tide this afternoon is enjoying another lovely day reading i my yardis enjoying another great day in SB, got to this park about 8 AM after MD apptOne of Tacy's workplaces in the OC Parksis beyond angry. Got a head's up from our neighbor, her "partner" arrived from LONDON last night, hope "partner" didn't bring new strain of Covid too!is cold, it's 39 but supposed to get to 71 but we can see the islands thru the treesWe were ready to get outta town and so we headed south yesterday, Wiley and me at the Malibu Bluffs ParkWhen the air is clear and the light just so,if I stand and peek over the back fence (also thru a window in the office) I can see the islands and make out a sliver of the ocean - 30 minutes ago it was pouring, now at 3:40, this- I do live in a nice placefound this new bloom in the yard, been wondering what this green succulent would bring, love it!is spending time with this little guy out in the yardI am content and want to share a different view, as I look out my kitchen window as I chopped veggies for supper.was so happy to see the sun when waking, especially since we are sticking to the home today and my view is lovely!today we went to the beach show where DH usually spends Sundays. This was it's 2nd Sunday, 28 out of 137 vendors were there, he visited, i read my book in car. loved palmswas tired of fog and went to see how Solvang looks like during Covid. just thrilled to have pic takenis loving my backyard today, lots of birds singing, truly peacefulhas changed, this past month I have grown so much more at peace because of this yard where I spend my days, this AM:is enjoying a foggy start to the week, fog is good-keeps crowds off the beaches!is sharing Roisin (Irish name meaning little rose), she is blind and her eyes a beautiful iridescent green, just a sweetheart Grand Cayman, 2020Grand Caymanis constantly thanking the 2 ladies that lived in this house 30 years and their green thumbs - today thesehere are the newest blooms in our yardhas re-discovered cream of wheat!!!is happy to share the newest bloom in the backyard, it is so fragrant!is Happy to figure out this little tree after it blossomed in February, we've been wondering which stone fruit, it's looking like apricots!!!was careful to social distance on my walk but after I passed by he got up and waddled off to the pond in the park is just staying in the yard today and there is this..., we head out of our house every few days, today the Mission Historic Park was not too crowded, Wiley needs his park time (he's on the left w/Jeff)is spending my days here feeling thankful in these times and reading books on the shadeLet the FUN begin!I will sit here and drink my teais trying to explain to this little guy "social distancing", he doesn't understand why he can't visit with his friends!, here is my favorite bloom this morningis kinda slow this AM, the picture I wanted to shareis enjoying thid outside our front doorspent 11 hours and walked 10 miles in the French Quarter in NOLA, a super friendly place!!!enjoyed today, it only got to 66 after yesterday's 80, but still a great day enjoying the back yardis happy, tree in the backyard is actually an orange tree and now we have blossoms, very fragrent, so we also have bees. is just sitting around, waiting, surgery tomorrow and keeping my company, 2 little rats wanting ear scratches, so cuddlywoke up to a cold, drizzly fog enclosed neighborhood, so I'll think of Irish mornings as I drink my Barry's and enjoy the peat smoke from my wee pub! (sun is out 1 mile away in foothills)is thinking he had a good time at the Wine & Food Festival, since then I've learned his wrist band designates him as a sponser/vendor. I'm thinking he was happy to see all enjoying his backyard! is happy to share the girls in their new toy, so much funis tired after an amazing day on Anacapa, Arch Rock has been a favorite since I moved here in '73 is content, another beautiful day in Paradisewell, the rain is heading in, good day to cozy upis missing lazy mornings in bed in Cork, I'd never taken the time for this before, here are 3 pictures, TY Tacy(a week after the fact) we stopped in a pub after a long day exploring to warm up with a Hot Whiskey and Trad Music, not on my diet but a memory of Mom, she made these for us when we were sick as kidsJan 15 '19- our "headed to Ireland" LAX airport selfie, we do one each visit has company, so I put them to work, gut wrenching to see.has had a busy day but got a nice walk in.
