I'll gradually increase daily :DI just got word that it's been shipped! Always wanted to try this but wasn't interested in the price. They had the UP24 but I haven't had good experiences with Bluetooth devices. I can use my earphone jack on my phone to sync with UP App. I loved my BodyMedia but couldn't handle the subscription any longer. Also, being pregnant, wasn't sure it was worth it since it's for weight loss. A walk by the river.Today, I walked to this familiar place. I made it to the first tower (closest to me) and back. First round was uphill. :). It got here about 8 days after ordering it. At first I thought I'd hate it because you have to set modes (sleep, stopwatch, power nap) but it turns out to be quite easy to get used to. Mine is the Jawbone UP not the UP24 model. I have to connect via headphone jack. It's working for me so far.Made this for DH yesterday because I wanted to post a picture to Instagram. Lol! That's vegan carob brownie with soy ice cream and carob sauce. Only the ice cream was store bought.This was taken a week ago at 33 weeks. As of today, I've got 6 weeks to D-Day ;)Someone celebrated 100 years yesterday. I love the way they did her name in watermelon.Yes, I'm still walking. Just not as much as usual because I've been so busy getting adjusted to our new home and hubby's new job and we volunteer at the thrift store. I'm going to get it together!Still pregnant and still smiling! Weighed in at 202.4 lbs this morning. I've got my work cut out for me!Midwife says to up the potassium. Nothing like coconut water!She is here!We actually made it to take pictures before I gave birth.Baby love.This is all I crave. My salad is dressed with Herdez Salsa (mild) and homemade cashew cheese sauce. The veggies were grilled on a Hamilton Beach electric grill. The dressing that was brought with the salad (lovely church people have been bringing food) will go on those veggies. Since we live in a small space, I wanted to buy some headphone so no one else had to hear my workout. They get the job done. Do you know how long it's been since I've done ab work??? I felt like throwing up afterwards. Not too badly but it was there. So I sat on my mat and relaxed until I felt good again. Tomorrow, it's 5, but a rest day for the 30 day challenge. We'll see what gets done ;)Done! Yesterday I did go for a walk but not 5 miles. :p but it was a rest day so I was still good. Today I got it done early(er). Aiming for morning exercise.Got it done yesterday. That was a NSV! I was not trying to do it. Just wanted to be lazy.It's 11:20 pm. I missed my walk. I could see it as messing up my streak, but instead, I've made some adjustments. I moved my 14th day "rest" to today (10th day) and will do today's walk tomorrow (miles 3-5). The walk for tomorrow (neighborhood walk) will be moved to the 14th day and days 12 and 13 will stay the same. I'll let you know how it goes.Going to TG at a church member's home. I'm bringing my American version of a Palauan dish we call "dmok." Chard, kale and spinach with coconut milk and onions. YUM! In the Palauan version we would use taro leaves.The pic says it all! I just felt I missed too many days over TG. Lots of running around and adjusting to other people's schedules. I'm going to try and get thru this week. I already know I'm not going to be able to do day 3. Concert day part 2. Saturday will be a fuller day than normal. (Smacking my forehead.)A new year is just around the corner and DH and I are planning on making it #ourbestyearever with #MichaelHyatt she is growing too fast.On Sunday I began my own personal 30 Day Challenge. I'm just taking it one day at a time 30 minutes a day. What are you up to?Best 100 calorie snack ever!It's SERIOUSLY raining in #NorCal Fell off the exercise wagon for a whole week. Only, Iâ€™ll be adding rice and beans. #plantbased #veganWorking on my goal of 8 servings of veggies and fruits daily. Being that Iâ€™m vegan, I usually eat veggies and fruits so I got specific. 5 veggies and 3 fruits.... and 4 servings of the veggies need to be raw and green. Never too old to hopscotch.So for the 5% Challenge we need to get our freggies in.... i combined 4 cups of Kale with 4 cups of spinach, maybe even more.... added some home canned tomatoes and other seasonings.... some salt... and BAM! Oh, and the juice of one lemon. Man! This went straight to my brain. Awesome. I must for getting in a quick salad. #100%YUM#freggies day 2 determined to get it in, even on busy days. 4 generous handfuls of baby spinach, 2 oranges, 1.5 cups of frozen mango.#freggies day 3!
