Well, ok, she walks too slowly because she wants to keep stopping and sniffing everything so I do my own brisk walking without her. But she goes walking with me like 3 times a day around my block lol! This is my only before pic I could find right now. I am the second one from left together with all my sisters. The next post is where I am after 2 years with Spark! Lost 50 lbs!I am the one in the middle after losing 50 lbs with Spark after 2 years! Some of my flower garden I work on every year at home. ;) My breakfast today... Scrambled eggs (two whites, one whole egg), with light sprinkling of cheddar and 1/2 cup cannellini beans, two slices of homemade whole wheat toast with butter and cinnamon, and banana with a few strawberries. It has to power my day today! My peace and serenity 😃Part of a trail at Tinkers creek state park.Don't know why my photo is sideways here. I tried to rotate and save it rightside up but nadda... lol Oh, well, it's me now at 147 lbs instead of 189 lbs! Dinner was awesome! Rosemary olive oil chicken breast (a spark recipe), Brown rice, a medley of green and waxed beans, baby carrots, whole grain light wheat bread and water. Yum!This is my "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree I got this morning lol! I will decorate it tomorrow morning. Don't know why my pics keep coming out sideways. I even tried flipping in the phone hmmm. sorry 'bout that.lolTrying to stay on track! At least I already did my walking (although because of the ice and snow I had to use the dreadmill)Trying to stay on track! My walk this morning. Don't know why it always comes out sideways, lol? I already logged 16k steps in and still have to do my Strength Training after lunch lol.My lunch, tuna on homemade wheat bread, an apple, and yogurt yum! (And very filling) ;) oh and a coffee with stevia and creamer.Already did my 10k steps and strength training for the day. Yay me! Just wanted to see if this pic is a little better?The last few days my exercise has been removing 2 garden beds that are 12 feet wide by 3 feet deep made of landscape timbers 4 high, and filled with perennials that had been in the beds for 10 years! Talk about hard work and roots! Roots and roots! I just counted it as gardening. I did them by myself too! Pic shows the beds before removing the timbers. I did replant the plants 😁Saw this fella on my walk this morning! Momma laying eggs next to the trail.
She is about the size of a football lol! I left her alone. 🐍My lunch today ;) It was baked sweet potato with salsa,cheddar cheese, and white kidney beans (usually use black beans but I was out). Yummy and healthy!Breakfast today! Eggs scrambled with nonstick cooking spray with salsa, tomatoes, chopped black olives, cheddar cheese, and a sprinkling of chives. Oh, and O.J.;)MY dog Dax's new sweater I crocheted for her lolDinner tonight was baked Tilapia Fillets, brown rice, and cauliflower. ;) I got my fiber, protein, and veggie all on one plate! Filling and good for me.I had some turkey, black beans, peppers, onion, and mushrooms leftover so I threw them all together for lunch, with a small amount of swiss cheese on top. Not too shabby for a quick fix! Loads of fiber, protein, and veggies too! ;) Spark on!Lunch was healthy and delicious! Homemade hummus (Spark recipe), orange, cucumber, and low sodium wheat thins 🍊Dinner, big plate of Teriyaki stir fry veggies, pineapple chunks, and chicken with Brown rice of course lolDinner is my Pepper, Onion, Black beans, and brown rice dinner with a Bai Cocofusion (first time trying that drink and I like) lol Yum!My new favorite drink! Yum!Took a rest day today and for a great cause! Bought a new bike! Rides like the wind and can't wait to get on the bike trail tomorrow morning! Woo hoo! Yay me! (Gave my old bike to Goodwill)Lovin' my new bike! Took it out on my trail 3x already! A Trek Verve 2 Disc hybrid bike! I was doing a lot of walking and not losing any weight. This ought to help lol!Best kind of exercise out there today! I did the canopy walk and tower (120 ft tall, 202 steps to top)at Holden Arboretum with my 10 yr old grandson 😊Dax for National Dog Day!Today's breakfast selection is...
Scrambled eggs, mango salsa and cheddar cheese, with banana, whole grain toast with Smucker's natural pb, oh, and coffee of course lol. Yum!Dinner was homemade split pea soup with ham yum! I think I ate too much!Merry Christmas to all of you! Have a wonderful day!Lunch was homemade butternut squash soup with some crisp bacon and I even threw in some fresh spinach leaves! Yum! My 2nd helping!My dog Dax is 5 years old and the sweetest dog I have ever seen! Love you girl!Took a nice walk today because it was so beautiful out! It's better than sitting inside in isolation lolDinner tonight! Kielbasa and veggies, Brown rice, and a little cheeseMy dinner, because sometimes you just want a big salad lol!My view on my 10 mile bike ride this afternoon. Taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather and colors before winter starts up! Had to look straight up to take this pic. Wish the sun was out but still gorgeous day nonetheless!
