Introduction Text Hey, everyone! My name's Alyssa & I'm 25. I live in the Boston area, but I would love to actually live IN Boston one day. I graduated from UMass Boston in May with a Bachelor's in Health Sciences. I originally wanted to get my Master's in Nutrition to be a dietician, but now I'm more interested in healthcare research. Getting in shape is a huge goal of mine that I've had for a very long time, but I never committed to it. I've never been overweight, but I do have some excess weight in my midsection that I would love to get rid of so that I can finally feel comfortable in my body. My main problem is binge eating, which I do about once a week. I either consume a ton of food in a short period of time or just keep eating for the whole day. When I do this, I can end up eating 3,500-4,000 calories for the day. I have an "all-or-nothing" mentality where if I eat one bad thing, I think my day is shot & I binge. I mostly tend to binge when I'm bored at home, so you could say that I'm an emotional eater. I also just love the taste of food & want to experience all of the different tastes all at once, so I eat them all one after the other. But then I'm upset for the rest of the day, sometimes longer. But I know that I CAN'T do this anymore because it's really unhealthy & only sets me back further from my goals. -Flatten my stomach -Reduce love handles -Build muscle, especially in my arms -Stop bingeing/eating when I'm not hungry -Become more flexible -Eat more fruits & vegetables -Eat less junk food (chips, ice cream, chocolate, etc.) -Drink more water -Make more homecooked meals -Run a 5K

-Cardio 5-6 times/week for at least 30 minutes (mostly Les Mills Combat) -Strength training 2-3 times/week -Yoga once a week -When it's warmer out, I walk places a lot more
