Introduction Text Good genes have gotten me pretty far. I've been overweight most of my life, but I inherited a tendency to healthy blood pressure and blood sugar levels; my liver and colon have remained healthy through years of drinking too much, and the only really troublesome system in my body seems to be my veins. In the end, though, my toxic job was erasing a lot of my natural protections. Thank heaven I switched to a low carb life back in 2011. While I'm nearly as heavy as I was when I started low carb, I probably would have topped 300 pounds without it. And I've still reaped multiple benefits even though I'm not 100% compliant - from steadier energy levels and better sleep, to the ability to go long periods of time with no food without feeling sick. The toxic job is finally in my rearview mirror, and I'm looking forward to having my life back! Can't wait to get healthier and more energetic again!

My main intention is to Be Happy and Live Long and Well.

Permanently low carb. Following a Primal Blueprint lifestyle when I can. Still a work in progress!
