Over 15 years, down the toilet! Been here since 2006. I will be hunting for another COMMUNITY I am NOT interested in a corporate boot-camp!
........................................
..............
I try to keep my page updated. If I haven't updated in a while, feel free to Sparkmail me and ask me to update!

Most recent update = March 22nd, 2021

I had a VSG - vertical sleeve gastrectomy - better known as a gastric sleeve on June 24th 2020. I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager and I am now 50. I am tired of it. I lost over 100 pounds in 2016, kept 80 of it off but simply had not been able to lose any more. I needed a tool that will help me do this. Please, for those that have not followed me in this, do not think "this was the easy way" it ain't even close to easy. But it is a beautiful tool with which to reach my goals and stay there!

Highest Weight (HW) 435 - BMI Feb 1st 2016 = 68.1 super-super-morbidly obese
Surgery Weight (SW) 352 lbs - BMI June 24th 2020 = 55.1 super morbidly obese
pivotal moment - 314 lbs - BMI August 23rd 2020 = 49 morbidly obese or class 3 obesity
pivotal moment - 299lbs - BMI Sept = 46.8 class 3 obesity - finally under 300
CURRENT WEIGHT (CW) 261 lbs - BMI March 28th, 2021 = 40.9 morbidly obese or class 3 obesity

pivotal moment goal ...255lbs - BMI DATE ??? = 39.9 = class II obesity (severely obese)
pivotal moment goal...223lbs - BMI DATE ??? = 34.9 = class 1 obesity (obese)
pivotal moment goal...191lbs - BMI DATE ??? = 29.9 = overweight
Goal Weight (GW) 159 lbs - BMI = DATE??? = 24.9 = normal weight

of course now they have changed the classifications of BMI, but that was how the classifications went when I started... this is current information

BMI Classification
18.5 or less underweight
18.5–24.9 normal weight
25.0–29.9 overweight
30.0–34.9 class I obesity
35.0–39.9 class II obesity
40.0 or more class III obesity

The surgical literature breaks down class III obesity into further categories, though the exact values are still disputed.

A BMI above 35 is severe obesity
A BMI above 40 is morbid obesity
A BMI above 50 is super obese

My Goals:
I just want to be comfortable in my own skin. To be able to walk around in the stores. To be able to take care of myself without help. I want to LIVE

My Program:
I have to make sure I get protein before any other foods or I may not have room for the protein. But I am not "low-carb". It's just that protein has to come first since my VSG

Personal Information:
My real name is Kathy and I live in southern West Virginia with my husband James.
we have no kids - just never happened
I am a 1970 model - just like my husbands favorite car - his Chevelle!
I am 5'7"
I was 5'8" as a teenager! I lost an inch the wrong direction!!!!

Other Information:
My user name Wildkat781 comes from my dear horse Mr Wildkat. He was an Appaloosa born in 1978. I got him in 1985. He died in 2004. He was my best friend for 19 years.

I joined Fatsecret.com yesterday. I haven't had a real opportunity to check out everything but it is like sp. There is a group that started of sparkers so we can stay together. It is a bit confusing to me but so wasn't sp to begin with. Trackers, groups, challenges and articles. People are following me already but I don't know how to follow them. So far I haven't found where you can have a page like sp. I am still iamagemlover on the site.
