    Hello darlin!

Hope you are having a fantastic pregnancy and are feeling so much better so you can enjoy the rest of it! half way now? beyond?

Been missing ya, but I know that motherhood in the works really is exhausting!

That sounds darling! Is your crib white too? It sounds like a vintagey princess room with the crown moulding and the distressed white change table. I love that look! I feel like I'd have more ideas for a little girl nursery but, alas, we are having a little boy and I've struggled a bit with the nursery design. We have an expresso crib set from toys r us (dresser will do double duty as a change table).

Right now the room is a beige but we might paint to lighten it up to a lighter coloured beige. I've seen some nice things on pinterest where the walls are beige and then colour is added through wall decals and other items in the room. I'm trying for the room to not be overly in your face boy if you know what I mean.

I REALLY want a nice upholstered glider. We are doing a 'reading nook' in one corner with a wall shelf and this glider I want to get. The hope will be that it can continue to be a special reading place for us in the years to come. I'm still on the lookout for my glider! Starting to feel a bit pressed for time! haha. I'm in the single digit countdown now (31 weeks pregnant as of today).

Yes exactly! My husband was pretty paranoid about leaving the country and we were both worried about me getting stomach sick again! The vacation was nice as we just didn't have to stare around our house at all the things that are still undone for a few days. Also swimming was great.

I swear I spend half of my time staring at my crazy abdomen moving all over the place and exclaiming loudly "what are you doing in there?". It's like he has a baby party every once and a while lol.

I did my glucose test and it was fine. I wouldn't worry about it if you haven't had any symptoms. The plus side of doing it for me was that they uncovered the low iron. They threw in a few other tests while they were looking at the blood work.

I'm kind of bummed that the baby showers are scheduled for later as I like to plan too but my friend who is hosting the work one is getting married on April 26th which meant that the shower needed to be mid-May (they are honeymooning right after the wedding and she was too busy before). The other one is my mother who feels that May 4th will be the best time. I'm just hoping that it will all go okay and that we'll still have enough time to get the items we need but didn't receive. My husband keeps telling me that if we find we need something, we can always go out and get it after the baby has arrived. It's true that we're not going to be out in the arctic. Babies R Us will still be standing lol.

I know what you mean about the cleaning! We've been trying so hard to get things organized around here. I feel like I will feel more prepared for baby once we have more of our house better organized. Unfortunately, we still have a few half finished reno type things hanging around. They are driving me crazy! We have a half painted hallway/stairwell and a sanded down bannister right now. We're trying to get someone in to do the work but of course time is of the essence....plus I will need to go and stay with my mom while fumes/lack of stair railings are afoot! I wish I had more energy to clean but alas we will get done what we can before baby eh? That was pretty great of your husband! Probably exactly what you needed :) I also want everything to be perfect :( It's hard when you're all hormonal and nothing seems right. Don't even get me started on the nursery! We have some furniture but otherwise it's pretty well not done yet. What are you doing for yours?

In reply to your comment on my blog:

Thank you! I hate the fact that I've struggled with my weight during pregnancy. It should be such a happy time where gaining weight is such a great positive thing and yet it's been a struggle not worry about gaining 'too much'.

I wouldn't say that my belly seems excessively bigger in the evening BUT I do have to pee waaay more frequently in the evening. I think it is because gravity has been pushing baby down on my bladder the whole day!

Hey! I'm 31 weeks this Wednesday :) Hmmm additional aches...I've had some random knee/ankle pain and swelling but nothing overly major. Just kind of feels like a light sprain some of the time. Oh yeah, and if I bend over after eating now...hello heartburn! I also can't imagine getting any bigger and I still have 9ish weeks left to go! The baby's movements are so big now that it's pretty nuts! My energy has definitely been flagging but I just found out that my bloodwork showed some low iron levels. I'm hoping that once that's corrected, I'll find a LITTLE more energy again!

Your babymoon sounds fantastic! I really wish we had managed to do a beach thing but I was too paranoid to go to Mexico or Cuba due to having had food poisoning in the past and then it was too late to fly anyways. I guess it just seemed nervewracking for me to be out of the country! Of course now I am kicking myself. Are you staying in the U.S.?

We did do a 2 day trip to a nice winery area around here which qualifies as our babymoon. I drove my husband around to a lot of wineries and we relaxed the rest of the time. It was just nice to be away from the house. Plus I smelled some great wines! I very much enjoyed swimming. It was nice to be buoyant for a while. I bet it will be worth all of the awkward maternity suit trying on!

Both baby showers (family/friends and work) are in May! One is May 4th and the other is mid-May at some point. I am going to be super pregnant for them both (35 and 37 weeks!). That could be fun or we could have a baby in attendance ;) When is your shower scheduled for?
