    i'm the new co-leader for the 20 pounds support group team and i'm so excited to get this team going again! did you know that today begins the countdown for the last 10 days of 2010? i can hardly believe it! but we've started a new thread where you can come and share with everyone how you're going to make these last 10 days count. i really want to get the team pumped and ready to achieve their goals in 2011! so come by and share with us how you've been, what you'd like to accomplish (or avoid) in the next 10 days, and let's get our group rockin' again!

    It's the last day of July ...a good time to reflect upon your goals for August! Things to consider may be...

    How many fitness minutes do you want to try to achieve?
    How many pounds would you reasonably like to lose?
    What new activities would you like to try?
    What has been working for you that you would like to continue?
    What hasn't been working and should be changed?

    Not everyone likes to set goals, but it is a valuable tool to use on this journey. Goals help to provide focus and a vision for what we want to accomplish. Even if we fail to meet our goals, the experience provides valuable feedback --- What went wrong? What behavior do we need to change to attain what we set out to do?

    Take a few minutes ... challenge yourself with some goals for August!
