    Hi Val,

I can really relate to what you must be feeling about so many losses for you to personally experience. My mom almost died when I was 25 and a half from a brain aneurysm. She miraculously survived and I had her for 25 more years. I am now 59. But after that, I started losing people. My gram died in 1988 from a massive stroke. My boss died in 1993 at 35 from brain cancer. My doctor who was counseling me through marriage problems, died in 1989 from Lou Gehrig's disease, it was so fast! My dad died in in 1993 from cancer all over his body. My dad's mom died a few years later in 1995. My pastor died of a heart attack in 1995 and my mom died in 1998 of a massive stroke. My sister in law died one month later at 48 of breast cancer. Now my husband's mom and dad are very ill and it's so painful to see them fade. So, believe me I understand how it feels to lose someone you rare close to. But I'm living with a loss that is very hard too. My oldest brother has bipolar disorder and has schizoid affects, he hears voices and my youngest brother is married to a woman who has turned him away from me and has abused thier children for years. That's worse than a death because the pain keeps continuing regarding both my younger brothers. I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. I know what pain is like and sometimes it just can't be pushed out of your mind. But with God's help we get stronger slowly. We learn to find pleasure in small things and don't take anything for granted after losing someone so dear to us. I can find happiness sometimes in the tiniest things. I've learned that I can't control my feelings but I can heal from them. My faith is important to me as yours is. If I didn't have God to talk to I wouldn't want to be here but I have Him and all is at peace for now. Stop by my page and share feelings anytime. I'm a good listener.
