Three months in. I've lost 1/4 of the weight I want to lose, this time around... but I'm feeling stuck. It's winter here in the Twin Cities (Minnesota, USA), and inspiration to move is at a low point--and will only get lower in the coming (dark) months.

On the other hand--I have a lot of tools in place to help me. The next three months could well be good ones! I have to keep my "eye on the prize"--my mid-range spring '16 goal of joining my local boat club and rowing in a crew again. Really, nothing is stopping me--it just would be nice to join as a fit, calm, happy person, and not a roller-coasting unconfident... mess, who is more worried about how I look than having fun.

Clearly, I have hit the wall of mid-life. Rattled over the past two years by a series of minor health issues and unbalanced by the competing demands of work and family, it's time to recalibrate and focus on my own physical and mental health.

Goals Achieved:
[10/31] log 1,500 minutes of exercise in the month of October
[10/28] recover from my (double) tennis elbow situation. I am going to cautiously pronounce this goal met. None of the exercise I am doing is exacerbating my elbows. I'm still being careful-but I think I have done all the specifics I can do with this issue for the moment
[10/28] log 1000 minutes of exercise in the month of October (not ambitious enough--mid-month I had to bump this goal up!)
[10/15] lose the 1st 5 pounds of the 30 pounds I need to lose
[9/30] log 1000 minutes of exercise in the month of September

Need to lose, percentages:
2%- 171
5%- 166.25
8%- 161
10%- 157.5
12%- 154
15%- 148.75
16%- 147

2. (updated, mid month) To log 1500 exercise minutes for the month of December

I'm sticking to physical health goals for the moment. I don't want to dissipate my focus!


My Program:
Meeting with a personal trainer 2x/week, building up my activity level outside of these meetings as I regain my physical confidence.

Additionally, I am also working through Julia Cameron's book *The Artist's Way* as I'm getting my groove back.
