My Goals:
My goal is to lose 51 lbs. I've been consistant with my weight until recently. My doctor increased my medication (Lyrica) from 300 mg. daily to 900 mg. daily, causing me to gain almost 40 lbs. in approx. 14 days.

My Program:
 I start my day with a healthy breakfast, something I've never practiced before.

I've changed my eating habits! I'm finally eating correctly.

I've made a conscience decision to exercise on a daily basis.

I know exactly what is going into my body. I keep track of how many calories I'm taking in on a daily basis.


Personal Information:
I've been married for almost 23 yrs. When God created my husband, he broke the mold. I also have 5 children and 1 grandchild.

    I realized that at my age I don't really give a rat's rump anymore...
    If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal...
    A whale swims all day, only eats fish, drinks water, but is still mostly blubber...
    A rabbit runs and hops and only lives 15 years,
    while a tortoise doesn't run and does mostly nothing except eat, yet it lives for 150 years.
    And they tell us to exercise? I don't think so!

    ******THE ROAD OF LIFE HAS MANY TURNS******
    Sometimes the road of life takes us to a place we had planned....

    Sometimes it shows us a surprise around the bend we could never have anticipated. We make decisions based on the information we have...We accept our ups and downs as they come...We live "one day at a time."

    But often we find it is only when we look back that we can see that what we had thought was a "wrong turn" has brought us to exactly the right place and every step was a right one after all!!
