CURRENT Goals:

Short Term Fitness Goals:
-Main Weight 124 HIT NOV 9 2013
-Race Weight 116 (Ave weight) By Feb 13, 2014 or sooner
-Bodyfat 16% By Feb 13, 2014 or sooner
-Rest my body during the off-season
-PRIME FOR SKI SEASON!!

2014 Fitness Goals:
Optimize training condition: strength, speed, flexibility.
Compete in a ski marathon.
5K in 22:00 range.
Half marathon in 1:30's.
Build mileage to maintain 50-75 miles per week for my next marathon
Demolish Boston Qualification Times.
Complete Great Wall of China Marathon.

Ongoing Goals:
Mind/Body/Spirit Balance!
Peaceful and beautiful environment!
Fantastic relationships!
CONTINUE TO BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY :)

"Tri-babe" means:

Tri- for triathlon, of course! I have been an athlete since I was a kid... I love endurance sports of all types, especially running, snowsports, and multi-sport.

Tri- for the triad of Mind/Body/Spirit. I am incorporating balance into my life!

Tri - for the homonym "Try", in strengthening my life, if I encounter an obstacle or something new that I want to do but have fears, I will take the first step and TRY!!

And "babe" for, well... "focus and become" :)

My Goals:
I will return to top fitness and achieve ranked status. Weight back in the low 120's and bodyfat back in the teens, through careful training, proper and adequate nutrition, and rest.

I am also in the process of finding an environment and life of happiness, great relationships and personal satisfaction, placing a value on my own needs as well as those of others.



My Program:
I stay active and train 1-2 times day, 6 days a week, balanced with relaxation and meditation.



Personal Information:
I enjoy renovating houses, fitness, healthy eating, travel, spending time with family and creativity.


Other Information:
Find happiness from within, let it radiate to others and attract positivity into your life.

    I hear ya on the exercise video thing. I've never done one, never really wanted to and didn't really have the room. But based on some results, reviews and prodding from some respected members here at SparkPeople I went ahead and bit the bullet. I'm very glad I did. P90X is great.

    I am a California girl born and raised. So I understand the weather thing and we have had the best weather that I can remember for a summer in a long time. But I believe you need to give this meetup.com a chance. I am a married woman, but I do find most of the people I go to events with are single and they are nice and fun. I have made some nice friends just by showing up. You do have me interested in that SamE so I am going to look into that.

    LMAO @ exercising being OCD. I saw something on TV last week about this woman who was crazy about working out. She would have panic attacks if she didn't work out. She needed treatment and everything. I don't want to become that woman. I feel like crap if I don't workout. I guess that's why I've worked out everyday for the last 6 weeks, with the exception of June 13th. I will check in with you a few times a week to see how everything is going (if that is okay with you).

    I saw your message board post about going off of you diet for one day and gaining weight. I completely understand you frustrations and desire to quit. I hit a bump in the road after losing 10 pounds. I was eating right and exercising constantly but the scale wouldn't move. I added additional work outs by working out in the morning which helped get me over my hump. Now my problem is, is that I keep gaining and losing the same 4 pounds and it's pretty frustrating. I can't get below 157 to save my life. Just do not give up. Try changing your routine and see what happens. You can even break up you routine. Do 1/2 in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening. ..just keep at it. emoticon
