    Awesome job starting Insanity! The first week of each month always seems to be the hardest! I follow Michi's Ladder for nutrition more than anything. In August of 2012, I followed the meal plan and lost 23lbs, this time around, I'm on track to lose 20 total and feel like I'm not restricting myself as much emoticon

    The best tips I can offer include focusing on form over speed. Once you get form, the speed picks up, and as you get stronger, you get faster. Don't get discouraged if you don't feel like you see crazy good results after month 1. I took before and after pics and there was a huge difference between the beginning and the end. Regarding nutrition, a balance is the most important thing. I allow myself a Smart Ones dessert daily and feel like it keeps me grounded in the rest of my nutrition emoticon emoticon
