I have been a "big" girl my whole life and have tried just about every diet there is. I found SP and it seems to be the only thing that has worked because it ISN'T a diet, it's a way of life.
My motivation:
I am DONE being the fat friend/sister/daughter/co-worker/neighbor/
stranger!
I am DONE squeezing into theater chairs, roller coasters or airplane seats and being uncomfortable (or not fitting at all)!
I am DONE shopping at the "fat girl" stores!
I am DONE being covered up at the beach!
I am DONE thinking my size is holding me back from love/promotions/opportunities/life!
I am just DONE being the fat girl!!!!

Fitness Minutes: 33,927

My Goals:
I want to weigh less than 200 pounds (onederland!) and be a healthier person. My ultimate goal is to be able to walk into "regular" stores and fit into clothes there (and not be the largest size!).


My Program:
Eating at least 1,400 calories a day and making *good* food choices.
Going to the gym at least three days a week.
Incorporating strength training and switching up the cardio I do (by going to Zumba and trying other classes).
Completing SP challenges (I love having goals!).
Drinking LOTS of water (minimum 8 glasses).
Tracking my food every day.
Training for first-ever 5K (DONE 4/10/11).
Running my second race (3.5 miles) with co-workers! (DONE 6/15/11)
Completing a half-marathon (DONE 10/2/11)
Completing another virtual challenge (DONE 11/1: Trick or Trot Virtual 5K)



Personal Information:
I grew up in a small town in California, lived in New York City for a while but recently moved back to San Diego. I don't think I'll ever leave!

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge.
