Hi everybody! Am very excited to have some help on my weight loss journey. Have lost 20 lbs on my own but need some help and motivation for the rest - and help to keep it off.
Have been a vegetarian for 15 years and love it. I own a small health food store - LucedaleHerbShop.com - so that helps in my quest for health and fitness.

I have learned that being vegetarian does not automatically mean that you are slim, trim and wormy looking. I am struggling with weight issues just like so many other people. I just have not gotten to the root of my problem yet. Does anyone else have that problem or am I the only one who just can't figure it out? The weight is coming off very, very slowly. I do realize that it is all a matter of mathematics - the magic 3500 calorie number - that make or break a pound.
Ruby is one of my favorite motivators. I watch her show whenever it is on and if she can stay with it, so can I. And I'm grateful for all of my friends on this website who help motivate me when I just don't think I can do it anymore.
