I've always been athletic with good eating habits for the most part, but when i needed a quick fix i always turned to extreme dieting and over working myself. I now have made a HUGE lifestyle change. I eat healthy and work out now because i want to and i enjoy it! It does take some time to change you're eating habits, but it is possible. I've learned the importance of eating in moderation, but also making sure not to deprive myself of the things that i crave. Me and my sister have been working out on a routine basis since January 2009, and on April 5th we started P90X. I was in pretty good shape to start, but WOW do you get results from those workouts (i HIGHLY recommend P90X)! Since then i have completed P90x 4 times. I also started Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire. I have become so in love with fitness that i am now a certified trainer (ACE), and a Turbo Kick instructor. I look forward to keeping up with my fitness journey and continuing to challenge myself further in the future!

*UPDATE* i gave birth to my beautiful baby girl 12/29/14 and now i am starting my fitness journey over. I am ready to tackle the challenge of losing this baby weight and getting my pre pregnancy body back :)

My Goals:
-Maintain my current weight.
-Continue eating right and working out.
-Finish my personal training certification, and Turbo Kick certification!
-Help others stay motivated and achieve their fitness goals :)


My Program:
-I eat 1250-1500 calories per day
-I give myself one day during the weekend to have the things i enjoy in moderation.
-I work out at least 1 hour 6 times a week
-Sunday is my day of rest but if i feel motivated i will do a light work out, or walk.
- I count my calories everyday. I try to keep my fat calorie and protein levels as balanced as i can. Having spark people has helped me tremendously
- I weirdly do not weigh myself. I just base my progress on inches lost and the way i look and feel. I found the scale in the past to be very discouraging and it is an easy thing to get obsessed with so i chose to just measure my inches.
