Ok, I hit a stumbling block and fell down. With all the extra padding, however, I'm happy to say I wasn't hurt and I'm back on my feet and ready to get started......again. This time, I WILL DO IT!!

I took a little time off due to personal reasons, but I'm back full force now with new goals and a new attitude.

Last time I didn't have the confidence in myself. This time I've joined a SparkTeam and plan to be more active in my goals.

It's time for a new beginning!

Fitness Minutes: 821

My Goals:

New year, same goals but with better discipline.

1) Walk daily and gradually increase distance to 5 miles per day.

2) Track foods better/eat healthier

3) Schedule exercise time and stick to it.

4) Learn to manage stress better.

5) Learn to manage time better (time with kids especially)

6) Lose 35 pounds

And last but not least..

7) Learn to accept and like who I see in the mirror.....ME!

My Program:

--I've joined a Spark Team to keep me on track with my walking.

--I've invited friends to join the "Y" where I am a member so we can encourage each other on our adventure of getting fit.

--Read some motivational books/articles about stress management and time management.

Personal Information:

Hi! I'm Ann and I'm from Hendersonville, TN.

I've been a SparkPeople member for 1 year now. I started out great losing 10 pounds, then kind of backslid and gained almost 20. I know the site and program work, I just need to buckle down.

By this time next year, I intend to be entering my goals as maintaining my weight instead of losing it.

Here's to a great beginning in 2007!

    Hi Ann,

    It sounds like you have recommitted for 2007. That is great, so haven't I. I am not going to be a 'statistic' this time and start off strong and then just fizzle out, I have done that too many times. This time is going to be it, I am going to reach goal.

    I noticed that your weight and mine are the same right now. Maybe we can watch our weight go down together and cheer each other on.
