Greetings. I'm Nancy, from Michigan. I'm 63 years old and have been on Weight Watchers since June of 2006. I’ve decided to give calorie counting a try. I’m doing it for a least a month to see how it goes.
I've been happily married for 44 years and we have 3 children and 11 beautiful grandchildren. I am truly "too blessed to be stressed".

I am a later in life runner. In October of 2012, I was thrilled to have completed my first half marathon. I’ve done 4 more since, but now with an arthritic knee, I’m not sure I’ll do another one.
I love spending time with family, gardening and reading.

To get back to at least an 8 mile run.
To lose at least 5 lbs before February 21 - my birthday.
To gain control of my night time eating and snacking.
To achieve a healthy balance in my life.
My Program:
Counting calories and trying to stay in a realistic deficit. I’m going for a half a pound a week on average weight loss.
To learn portion control and stop my mindless grazing.
I try to get in an hour of activity each day, eat healthy foods and am working on getting enough sleep.

I love to read, garden, do jigsaw puzzles and spend time with my ten grandchildren, who call me "Mongo".
I have a Shih Tzu named Morgan.
