I've always heard that "life is like a roller coaster, full of ups and downs". I never thought that would apply to my weight.... This has been my whole adult life. Up and down! I'm tired of the roller coaster and I WANT OFF! I am tired of not doing what I want, going were I want and saying what I want. Always avoid drawing attention to myself in fear that people will notice how fat I really am. Duh! NO MORE, THIS IS IT! I accept myself unconditionally as I am right now! I am not calling my past "failures", I am calling them "experiences". They were the practice for my final success story, that I am beginning to write today!

My words to live by are"failing to plan is planning to fail!",
"Eat wise and drop a size!", "Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is whats going to keeps you going.", "The first bite tastes the same as all the rest.", "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will still land among the stars!" , "Eating too much is the worst possible waste of good food. This doesn't help starving children anywhere, and it makes the over-eater a bit less healthy." , " A woman who wants something will find a way; a woman who doesn't will find an excuse." & " What lies behind us and what lies before us is nothing compared to what lies within us. "
We'll both reach our goals if we keep doing the work.

I- INVESTIGATE NEW WAYS TO GET FIT
O- OBSERVE YOUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
N- NEVER GIVE UP

Here's what I need to do:

1. Turn my thoughts into words

2. Turn my words into actions

3. Turn my actions into habits

My habits over time will become my character, and my character over time leads to my destiny.

Today, I just want to tackle the first step -- because without this, the journey can't even begin.

My Goals:
Short Tearm Goal- I want to go from 377 to 299lb....by 12/25/17
Long Term Goal- I will be under 199lb by 1/1/19 one year from the above date.
Thats 100lb in a year.
....I know I can do it! I am doing it!

YOU CAN DO IT!



One seed at a time and the garden grows;

One drop at a time and the river flows.

One word at a time and the book is read;

One stroke at a time and the paint is spread.

One chip at a time and the statue's unveiled;

One step at a time and the mountain is scaled.

One thing at a time and that done well

Is the only sure way to succeed and excel.

You can write, you can paint, you can sculpt or

climb;

You can do it by taking one step at a time.





My Program:
Meeting my daily goals one day at a time.

Drinking 8 glasses of water per day.

Staying with in my calorie range every day. Log my food everyday. Walk 2x a week. Stay away from sugar. Forgive myself and move on. Plan, plan, plan and have a back up plan. Stay positive!!!!

I know I can do this!!!!

I am 48 years old living in Los Angeles California with 5 children, 1 still at home and high blood pressure. I am determined to become healthy!

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs.
