Welcome to my SparkPage! My name is Savannah and have been with SparkPeople for a long time. As you can see, I have successful lost a bit of weight in college, kept it off for three years, and gained it back in the last few years. Since than, I have changed my focus to trying to live a happy, healthy life with my husband and our kitty! Running is my passion and love doing it when not in pain!

    No, I have been off Metformin since 2011 (I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic in 2010).

    My dear, always have hope. It may take a while to lose the weight, but slow is good. That's what I had to think about, too.

    I lost 100 lbs. But that is not the typical.

    I do 40% fat, 40% protein and 20% carbs. That's just what happens to work for me. But definitely work that w/the nutritionist.
