I am a 39 yr old mother of 4 kiddos ages 21, 19, 7, and 5 with a grandbaby on the way, yes I am to young for that but what can you do.
I like most am here to lose weight but most importantly a life style change. We try to be an active family (my husband is very fit ) but we don't always do what we set out to do. Such as camping; the idea is to hike, swim and enjoys being together but it usually turns out sitting by the camp fire drinking a beer. (excuse is, we worked hard to get this trip to happen so we will relax instead of moving)

I was tracking calories and walking almost everyday a year ago and lost 30 lbs in 3 months but stopped and ended up gaining 15 back, So I know I can do it, I just have to stay with it. I get comfortable thinking I can eyeball my calories but then that turns into just eating whatever. I know I need to track so I can see, which in turn makes me want to stick with it and not start eating any and everything.

I have always had the idea that, I cant make that meal, I have 3 men in the house that need lots of food; they will never eat that. Well the older boys are out of the house now and I have a new mentality, EAT IT OR STARVE!!!!!! Sounds kind of harsh but I am cooking healthy like it or not.

So that's a very short side of who I am and where I am at in my life.

My Program:
Eat healthy (more whole foods)
Exercise for 1 hr 3-4 times a week with added short 10 min of moving 3x a day everyday.
Stick to my 1200-1500 calories a day.
