I'm restarting my weight goal because I found out my scale has been misleading me by 15 pounds. So I reset my starting weight to the higher number.

    SparkPeople offers a world of potential and amazingly generous support and sharing of knowledge and experience.

    Sadly my time with our local team has not been what it was as we used to pull together lots of cool events such as walks, bicycle rides, runs, kayaking and even contradance!.

    The good news is that I've recently retired and I'm open to organizing such events again, I would have to see more interest on the part of others, perhaps new members such as yourself? ;-)

    In the meantime I highly recommend posting blogs on your SparkPage and questions for SparkTeam message boards to get the most from our SparkFamily!

    I love my walks no matter where they are. I just am finding I LOVE walking around the lake in the city. I'm living 2 blocks away from it. It's so wonderful having such a relaxing, beautiful area to walk in. Back home I tend to just walk around the neighborhood and on the streets. Not a scenic and a bit more stressful when it's dark and there's traffic.
