Like so many others in today's economy, I have returned to University in hopes of acquiring more knowledge and skills that will help me land a better job when I finish. Within the past five and a half years I have lost my mother, nearly lost my father (he suffered brain damage and is forever changed), and have come face to face with the reality of how much I haven't been taking care of myself.

At thirty-one, my fear of death and dying has made me to afraid to live, and I have been slowly killing myself with food. I intend to change my relationship with food and do what I must to live a long and health life.
