Oh geeze, I love Sparkpeople. Any time I've ever wanted to get my weight back in check, I've turned to the Spark. I've been trying to stick to a weight loss plan for the last two years and while I haven't exactly failed, I haven't been able to succeed either. Both times I embarked on a diet, I ended up pregnant within a month. Yes. BOTH times. I am now the happy, if slightly crazy, mom of a 5 year old girl, a 16 month old boy, and a 3 month old baby girl.

Thanks to sparkpeople's sister site: Babyfit, I was able to at least keep healthy while pregnant. I never gained more than 10-15 pounds for each pregnancy, which rather impressed my doctors and nurses since I was overweight to begin with.

While I am proud of myself for not letting things get out of hand, it has still been difficult to get back on that diet mind set. Or at least it was until I stepped on the scale yesterday and realized that my pre-pregnancy weight was starting to creep back slowly. I logged on to sparkpeople and started to log in my food for the day. Seriously? Did I really eat potato chips and diet pepsi for breakfast??! Oh yes. I did.

So here I am. Back on sparkpeople and bound and determined to GET. HEALTHY. At this point in my life I am less concerned about having the hot body I've always dreamed of. Not so concerned with losing weight to look a certain way. I'm a mom of 3 for crying out loud. At this point, I would be completely happy to be healthy and fit so that I can keep up with my little ones for as long as possible.

As you can see from above, my name is Theresa but almost NO ONE calls me that. Most of my friends call me either "T" or "Gypsy." You are most welcome to use either!
