Hi my name is Tara and i am currently living in NSW Australia (born and raised in New Zealand) with my husband and we have a beautiful little boy called Lachlan who was born on 3rd August 2011.

I am a qualified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. I plan to do personal training online for women that dont want to go to the gym or pay the price of a personal trainer. I am also looking into becoming a Turbo Kick instructor!

My Story
After moving to Australia at the end of 2007, I went from 136lbs (62kg) to 160lbs (73kg) within 8 months. It was the heaviest I had ever been. I was eating a lot of take aways and wasnt exercising. One day at the end of July 2008 we finally decided to get some scales and when I finally hopped on them and saw 73kg i couldnt believe it. I thought we had bought faulty scales and was going to return them. But when I weighed myself again the next morning, I knew I was wrong.

That day I planned to start losing weight and keep it off. We went out and bought a treadmill and I started walking daily. I then increased my walking to jogging. By the middle of September 2008 i had discovered Turbo Jam and I loved it! I started combining Turbo Jam and walking/jogging.

I then started Chalean Extreme in February 2009 weighing 140lbs (63.5kg) and completed 1.5 rounds combined with Turbo Jam. By September 2009 I was down to 133lbs (60.3kg). I then started going to the gym lifting weights and continuing to do Turbo Jam to get to my goal weight of 128lbs (58kg) for our wedding in April 2010.

The day before our wedding I weighed in at 126lbs (57.5kg). I had made it! All the hard work definitely paid off! We went on holiday to Hawaii and America for 3.5 weeks and we loved it! I ate anything and everything and gained 9lbs (4kg) - but it was worth it! America has the best food!

In July 2010 I received Turbo Fire in the mail and i was ecstatic! I did Turbo Fire until November 2010 getting back down to 133lbs (60kg). I then discovered we were expecting our first child and had to stop exercising due to terrible morning sickness that lasted until 20 weeks. I was then diagnosed with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction which causes a lot of pain and has prevented me from exercising.

I am due to have our baby boy soon and i want to get back down to 128lbs (58kg) after he is born. I have gained about 20lbs so far this pregnancy (which i am quite proud of!) and have 8 weeks to go! I cant wait to start exercising again - i miss my daily Turbo Fire Class!

UPDATE! January 2012
My baby boy is now 5 months old, and i am weighing in at 134lbs. I am doing Chalean Extreme and Turbo Fire to get back down to 128lbs!

1 Stay in my calorie range 6 days a week
2 Drink at least 2 litres of water a day
3 Burn at least 1200 calories a week
4 Strength Train 2-3x week
5 Do cardio at least 4x week
6 Reduce body fat % to 16%.
7 No eating 2 hours before I go to bed
8 Log my daily meals onto Sparkpeople
9.Do HIIT at least 3x week
10 Stay Positive!

My Program:
* Cardio 4x a week (turbo kick/turbo jam and turbo fire)
* Weights 2-3x week
* Eating between 1500-1800 calories a day

Personal Information:
I am 21 years old and living in NSW Australia with my husband. We have a baby boy who was born in August 2011. I am a SAHM and my husband is an electrician.
