Mar, 2021 Like my Army life long ago, I have my shots. Back at 215 with a fat waist..again. Muscle loss with age (79 1/2) is a real deal. Have to figure my way forward to 195 land and not lose muscle mass, maybe gain a little. Tough to gain when you are old.

3/24/21. I am launching a new effort within a Spark group I am in. It is a 9 week Star Wars themed challenge. My target is 205, improved aerobics and muscle.

My Goals:
Get rid of my accumulated gut. It is a burden in every way. See the other side of 200. Vastly extend my daily walking distance. Be able to get down and up off the floor with ease. Have my tight size 38 pants hang on my hips without a belt instead my belt being on looking like a rope strangling a feed sack.


My Program:
Goals. Walk every day. Use resistance bands/weights every day. Pretty much eliminate highly processed foods and dessert-like items and empty alcohol calories (just dinner wine) from my eating. I set up my treadmill for TV viewing, and my weights are by my desk. Set up and follow Spark food calorie range and track ALL food.



Personal Information:
I live in $ilicon Valley, I am 79, married to my bride of 51 years, and we have 2 daughters who are 1996 Atlanta Olympic Gold Medalists in Synchronized Swimming. They are both still in phenomenal condition. They have given us 5 lovely grandchildren.


Other Information:
Retired at 73 after working a great job 49 years for the same company.
I have no hobbies, except tracking finances and being generous. I enjoy a good laugh, a good meal and fellowship.
