Well I am back to the SparkPeople community. I have been riding the weight loss roller coaster and here I am, almost back where I started. I love riding my horses, and enjoy hand crafts like knitting, crocheting and quilting. My goal is to be the best me that I can be.

My Program:
One small step at a time.

If it goes in my mouth it better go on paper! Gee that almost sounds like house training a puppy, but I think you know what I mean.

Learn a healthy lifestyle and stick to it.



Personal Information:
My husband and I live in a small town in Southeast Alberta Canada.

Our kids have all grown up and a couple have families of their own. Yes we are Grandparents!

Now that we are empty nesters we are taking up equestrian activities and learning to enjoy hobbies.


Other Information:
We have thirteen horses, three dogs and a cat. Yes we do love our animals.

My husband tells people that I am a horse hoarder (LOL) and that we will soon need an intervention. I think he is mistaken.

In 2014 it is my intention to ride in Cowboy Challenges with two horses and use two different horses to Run Barrels. See, I NEED all of them!! He has a couple he can use too.

I have a seasoned horse for each event and one I plan to train for each event. That should keep me busy and out of the refrigerator.

    Hi. If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 8 week challenge. Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
