Wow, its been far too long since I've been committed to a consistent fitness routine... shame on me! Well now that fall term is finally over, I will actually have some time to focus on my desired goals for the new year. Right now I am trying to work on specific (realistic) goals and how to work them into my schedule.

Since my last steady goal for fitness, I have been able to maintain the weight I left off at, however it seems to fluctuate between a range of 5 lbs or so. Over time, my body has become weaker and its kind of disturbing to me... I never realized just how strong I was before. I need to work on muscle tone for sure. Not only that, but I'll be turning 30 years old on Jan 24th! Yikes.... really? No seriously.... really???? I've definitely got to find my perfect "fitness recipe" so I can indulge in the fruitful flavors of life for years to come. Jan 1st (my official restart date) is counting down.... mind focused, fingers crossed! ;)

So I've reached a good weight of 124.5 lbs so far and am now working to maintain it for the time being. With all the holiday treats I'm making for the kiddies, I'd say "maintaining" is a challenge enough, ha!! So far, so good though! I started SP on New Year's day of 2008 and with the amount of success it brought me, I'm VERY excited to see what the motivational "New Year" goal will do for me again....... maybe reach my complete goal w/ an added bonus of complete body transformation? We'll see.... but for now, I'm just patiently waiting and getting geared up for the challenge!!!

To those of you who are just creating your own program.... let me tell you that you will NEVER find as successful of a program as Spark People! SP has done an amazing job for my sister & myself (you should see one of my fat photos, ha-ha)! It has more encouragement & support than any other program available today! You have the opportunity to make new friends who are facing the same obstacles, yet have the same determination as you do. So welcome everyone to my page and good luck to you all thru the holidays & thru the many years to come!!!!!!

1) I am DETERMINED to lose about 38 lbs and make sure to keep it off!!

2) I also want to work on getting my energy up. I want to get more active and stay that way so I don't turn into a vegetable when I get older!!

3) My final goal isn't completely for myself... it's to be my twin sister's BIGGEST support for her own diet program! She's just as DETERMINED as I am and I know that with all the encouragement and support from everyone, it will be just enough to help her achieve the goal she's being trying to reach once and for all! Sis, if you're reading this... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!

1) I'm sticking to a low calorie diet and I'm using the Spark People system to track the calories I'm consuming!

2) As for fitness... well, lots & lots of cardio w/ some ST & crunches. Cardio 5 x wk with ST a couple x wk.

I'm 28 yrs old and I'm a SAHM of 2 awesome little boys and a little princess... and I've been with my fiance for 9 yrs (wow)!

I was born in Santa Monica, California but spent over half my life as an Oregonian. I grew up in Seaside, OR and have also lived in the Portland area for a few years and then in Coos Bay, OR (on the SW coast). I've spent a fair amount of time in sunshiny Sacramento, CA and decided it was time to come back to Oregon (much more of a family place)... which is where I'm at now (in the Portland area)... you with me, lol? :)

Since most of the mommies out there share our prego info, here goes...
Instead of the 25-35 lbs to gain for pregnancy, I gained 90 lbs with my first child, 70 lbs with my second and 80-85 with my third (yikes)!! I've busted my booty to get the weight off and now I'm ready to finish what I started years ago!!!

Other Information:
By far, I love my family more than anything else in this world!!

I'm big into outdoor activities, but haven't been able to do much of it lately. I love lakes, beaches, hiking, barbeques, picnics, sunbathing... anything with nature involved. Besides that, I absolutely LOVE girly girl things like shopping (as long as it's not at the grocery store)!!

As for tv shows... I haven't really had time to watch much lately... except for iCarly & Spongebob for the kids of course. ;)

For movies... I like just about anything w/ Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller & Leonardo DiCaprio. All right up my alley!
