Stay and Keep Healthy and Suck It Up so you dont have to Suck It In :D
Hello I am 32 years old and I am a type 2 diabetic and just recently diagnosed on Insulin. I have gotten used to it so far so thats good. I have to watch what I eat everyday the carbs and sugars and the calories also. I make sure that I eat lots of fruits and veggies and stay away from dried fruit and juice and chips and pop and anything like that. I drink plenty of water. The way I find myself maintaining my weight is walking and exercising. I walk for about 120 mins thats about 3.15 miles and ...
Hello I am 32 years old and I am a type 2 diabetic and just recently diagnosed on Insulin. I have gotten used to it so far so thats good. I make sure that I eat lots of fruits and veggies and stay away from dried fruit and juice and chips and pop and anything like that. I drink plenty of water. The way I find myself maintaining my weight is walking and exercising. I walk for about 120 mins thats about 3.15 miles and I do that everyday when its nice out or I do the treadmill I do about 50 to 60 mins on it. 3 mile also. And I have just recently started weight lifting and doing sit ups and skipping. Love it!!!!! Gonna keep at that. Well because diabetes is a big part of my life and I try so hard to keep healthy and keep my sugars in check and etc its a lot I talk about so. When you talk to me I will be talking about that and plus if you have diabetes in common I would love to hear your story and meet people with diabetes and who take insulin also. So if you want to reach out and talk to me feel free to so. And I am also seeing a Diabetes Team who has helped me with everything with being on insulin and etc that they are just great and love having them on my side/team. I also see a specialist. My goal is to loose 6 more pounds to get to my goal weight but then loose some more for my height(5'0)

My Goals:
1) Walk 1000 Miles this year for 2014
2) Drink more water
3) Keep up with my job and be a good worker and stay happy and healthy while doing so :D
4) Do more of my work out dvds and videos
5) Try insanity work outs or turbojam work outs online if I can find any
6) find time to go for more walks outside with my work schedual and etc
7) Keep my blood sugar levels at a healthy range everyday :D
8)Try to wake up with a blood sugar reading under 7
9) Get up and move around when commercials come on tv :D
10) Continue to eat healthy and make better choices food wise.
11) Eat more veggies and fruits
12)inquire about Shakeology :D

Just walking right now but want to get back into my work out dvds and etc :D I walk at work and am on my feet all day at work pretty much
