Welcome to my page!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! In short, I need to create and sustain healthy habits. When I realized I needed to lose some weight, I FINALLY brought exercise back into my life. But I've been inconsistent. I took a lot at the food I was eating and realized I relied on easy food - something I didn't need to cook! But I (and my family) were deep in poor eating habits.
And here I am today, after years of saying - I'm going to change! - seeing I'm still not making a big enough dent. ...

And here I am today, after years of saying - I'm going to change! - seeing I'm still not making a big enough dent.
So after a year like no other - between work commitments and personal commitments that were exhausting - and watching my health have problems (back issues), I decided that this really (REALLY!) was it. I set a goal that by age 50, I will be in a routine with exercise, at maintenance, and enjoying healthy food. I've never set a multi year goal before and after getting a little nervous about it, I got excited. And excited is where I plan to stay!

Being healthy is not just about the scale.
It is a journey with many routes not a destination.
