    Hi Steph,
    Looks like you are getting close to your goal. My school is year round which means we start at the end of July and then at the end of each quarter we get time off (5 weeks of the summer are redistributed). We will have a two week October break, an extra week in January (after the winter break) an extra two weeks plus spring break and then finish in late June with the other schools in the district, which don't start until after Labor Day. It is thought it will help our language learners not having 9 weeks in the summer to forget. They also offer remediation and enrichment classes during the breaks if parents want (which of course they do because it is inexpensive child care) where we can make extra money.
