I am soo excited about going home for the weekend and to open my package....ahem... I mean for Heather to open her package. emoticon
I am having a desent week. Had some chocolate last night because I had an urge but I knew when to stop which was pretty cool. And I haven't gained any weight since my last weigh in so I can't complain! emoticon
Hope all is well on your end!!

    Hope that helps.

Oh my goodness, I totally thought I wrote you back like a week ago...Anyway you should not harbor ill feelings toward your scale, it knows it sees all, and above all, it doesn't like it. Make it feel loved and it will treat you well for sure. Seriously, don't give up or get discouraged. You have already planted the seed for your success. Once you become aware of things it somehow helps you change them. For instance, I bet you that even if you go over on your calories, it's nowhere near the calories you were consuming before when you were not so consious of what you were eating. It sounds kinda corny but positive thinking is the greatest tool you can posess, it has certainly changed my life. The way you think about things and what you choose to focus on really does make a huge difference. For instance, you could get all upset that you didn't lose any wait this week, or you could be greatful that you didn't gain any. Sometimes we just like to beat ourselves up, but that's not very productive in fact it's very self destructive. If we focus too much on not losing the weight then that is exactly the kind of energy we will bring upon ourselves, and we won't lose it. OMG I totally went on a crazy rant, and you didn't even ask me for advice or anything. I was just feeling so positive today, and I haven't felt that way in a few weeks at least, and I wanted to share it emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

(Ok first off I had typed a big long comment and it never worked! GRR!!)
YAY, you didn't gain! That's great! How much did you loose this week?
Maybe it is close to your TOM and that is why you are so ravenous? Or maybe it is your TOM. I get like that when mine is nearing. Like, put-random-crap-in-your-mouth ravenous lol! It happends. You're going to have good weeks, great weeks, and not so great weeks, so don't beat yourself up.
To answer your question I have not always been so sucessful at loosing weight on here. I started in September and was balls to the walls with everything. I tracked my food, did my workout dvd's dilligently, and even joined a few biggest loser challenges here on spark. I lost about 12lbs fairly rapidly and then I just stopped for some unexplained reason. I gained all but 5lbs back and avoided coming on here for about a month. I was embarassed that it wasn't working out, and was embarassed that everyone else on the team was doing so well and I wasn't.
Then, my birthday came up in december and my parents asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I suggested the start up cost of a trainer and first month at the gym. Best money they've ever spent on me! It was the fire that I needed to relight under my butt! I lost the weight again and have lost about 17lbs to date.
So, don't think that everyone is perfect on here! No one is, it may just seem that way because some people only blog about their sucesses and not their flaws.
Have a great week, you're doing just fine!!
