    Hi Lorie,

    The Shred is a book written by Dr. Ian K. Smith, MD. States you can lose 4 inches and 2 sizes in 6 weeks. I did really well on my first cycle. I lost 19.2 pounds. I half did it a second cycle and the first week (week 7) I gained a half pound. I lost over the next two weeks for a grand total of 23.31 in the 9 weeks I was on it.

    Right now I cannot make it work with my schedule. You eat Meal 1--8:30, Snack 1--10:00, Meal 2--11:30, Snack 2--1:00, Meal 3--3:30, Meal 4--7:00, Snack 3--8:30. Each week switches up to "fool" your body.
