Hi everyone, I'm Stacy. I've been happily married for13 years and I have gotten too comfortable-I have gained more than 30 pounds. At 45 and young at heart I'm looking to get fit before I turn 50. I want to feel good about myself, look sexy for my husband, keep up with my grandkids and look great on my motorcycle.
My family has a history of diabetes and heart disease so I need to get a handle on my health before I fall prey to these.

My Goals:
I want to lose about 30 pounds before the summer so I can take my granddaughter to the beach. I also want to look sexy for my husband.


My Program:
I walk alot at work but it's not enough so I'll take my dogs out more often and also work out with my son to meet my goal.
1. Lose 30 pounds by this summer.
2. Cardio-Mon.,Wed.,Fri. my favorite is the Elliptical Trainer
3. Strength-Tues.,Thurs.,Sat.
4. Drink 6 or more cups of water each day.
5. Eat healthier and track my meals.



Personal Information:
I'm 45, raised in Florida and live in Spring Hill. Happily married for 13 years. I have three chihuahuas who I love and treat like babies. I have two sons, a granddaughter & grandson and another grandson due in December. Currently I'm studying Veterinary Assisting but I might continue my education to become a Vet Tech


Other Information:
I love the warmth of the Florida sun and taking motorcycle trips with my husband. I love photography. I do alot of crafts-mostly scrapbooking for the grandbabies. I also make beaded jewelry, Christmas ornaments and decorated canvas bags. I have a DVD collection of over 1200 movies so obviously I love movies. My husband and I play Rock Band on the Xbox 360.

    Hi Stacy,
    Regarding your question about how I can get so many steps in - I have a unique work situation where I don't usually leave the house until 9am so I usually have about an hour to walk - which I love. I just learned today though that I may be putting too much emphasis into the walking. . . as that is the way I burn the majority of my calories. I think I will need to put more emphasis on the strength building - It will be my new strategy for ongoing weight loss.
