No problem! That's what has worked for me so far. Sometimes I'll just take a weekend and eat 500-1000 more calories than what spark is advising I eat. I've heard from other people that that works too, because it keeps our bodies guessing! Do you do any strength training at the moment? That's good to mix it up with your work outs too. You've done great so far though. 40 lbs, wow! Nice work :)

Congratulations on your loss so far! Fabulous!
Sparks does advocates not losing more than two lbs a week as rapid weight loss tends to gain it back.
If you are tracking all your fitness and food carefully and staying in the Spark recommended range, you should be doing okay. Its important to set the Fitness Tracker to show how much exercise you will do in a week and this will give the Nutrition Tracker proper calorie range to stay in. Not going over is important, but not going under the range is too. Also, carefully weighing and measuring your food is vital. Its too easy to guess wrong and go over calories. Have you checked out Spark's recipe web site? Enjoy cooking and baking (not usually a healthy choice) with revamped old standard recipes meant to be lower fat and calories. Also new ways of cooking your veggies to encourage you to perhaps try ones you have never had before.
Variety is the spice of life, and your body does like changes, both in food and exercise, so it doesn't get stuck in a rut..
    Good luck with it!
