Slow Journey to Healthier Me
6/22/2020 - 199.2 My official Spark weigh in. I was actually 202 when I decided to do something about my weight.
Why did I wait so long?
This is my second journey to lose weight. I lost 30 pounds when I first retired. It was hard work. In about 12 years I regained it all.
I know I need to stay here when I get to maintenance so this does not happen again.

I want to reach and maintain a healthy weight.
My Program:
1. I will stay in the Spark People calorie range.
2. I will track all my food.
3. I will walk one mile 5 times a week.
4. I will do 30 minutes of strength training two times a week.
5. I will stay active daily in my 100 Days of Weight Loss team to maintain my momentum.
Personal Information:
I'm a 76. I am a Christian and take hope in God's guidance for our future.
Other Information:
Ten reasons I want to lose weight:
1. I would like to have more energy.
2. I would like to get off of cholesterol medication.
3. I would like to feel better about how I look.
4. I would like to accomplish this big goal.
5. I would like to encourage others by accomplishing this myself.
6. I would like to increase my strength.
7. I would like to be healthier.
8. I would like to life longer.
