    Fran, I've loved cottage cheese since I was a little kid. It is a healthy food but it is also high in sodium. Don't bother trying the unsalted cottage cheese because it's pretty horrible!

    Packaged foods always seem high in something we are trying to avoid. If it is low salt then it might have more sugar than you'd expect. Check foods you buy advertised as low fat because it is probably high sodium.

    I created a new thread on the Four Seasons Challenge. Sodium! I started it off with a comparison of different Green Giant frozen peas and canned peas. Some pretty shocking sodium amounts for a cup of peas if you aren't careful about what you put into your shopping cart!
