Each day I try to do something positive toward taking better care of myself. Today I did my physical therapy exercises and am getting my water bottle ready for the work day. I now have a riser on my desk at work and am standing more. This evening I am going to a seminar about foods for harnessing the power of the hormones and picking better foods for calorie burning. Tomorrow will take care of itself but I am still making plans for some good choices then too.

    Welcome to SparkPeople, Gosh I sure want you to be nice to yourself too. I imagine being nice to your self is easier if you feel good about how you look & feel. I am not going to try to feed you a line. I have been there, even recently with some weight gain. We beat ourselves up, though we shouldn't. I have some tips along with my welcome, hope it helps. I suggest you log in everyday. Acquaint yourself with the tools because they are key in helping you get to a healthy weight. I love the articles and they have helped me more than I could ever say.

    Have a blast making your page. It is your fingerprint. Change it up & make it your own. Most of us use it as a form of expression and a major source of motivation, really.

    Definitely use the Nutrition tracker, there is nothing like seeing what you are eating day after day in terms of your weight and health.     Appears as if you are getting it together. I hear ya when you say "everyone seems to like you just the way you are but you". I have dealt with that for many many years. I could analyze it until I'm old and gray...okay already there. Ha ha. I think you have some great words of wisdom. The tools on this site are fantastic...but the support is more than I could ever hope for. So hope you don't mind I have added you as a SparkFriend. emoticon
