Hi! The most pictures you see on this page are several years old (I did update my profile picture 1/16/2109). I don't have any recent pictures to post because I am having trouble facing the fact that I gained 63 pounds over the past five years. It's a long story that I don't care to relate here, but anyway...What I do want to relate is that I'm now in a better place and I am eager to get healthy and have more fun again! Gaining 63 pounds was easy--but it was not fun. And it left me with a lot of regret. But it did also leave me with lots of new knowledge about myself--how I feel about myself, my life, my needs and desires. I no longer have the need to be 'skinny,' for one thing. I'll be 60 years old in February 2019. Being a twig is the furthest thing from my mind now! I want to be fit, strong, and healthy. Period! And--I just want to live a healthy lifestyle--not a temporary, lose-20-pounds-in-a-month lifestyle. My health is a long-term, lifetime investment!

My Goals:
Ditching my old, unhealthy habits and replacing them with healthy ones.
Becoming stronger, both physically and mentally.
Learning how to blog and actually sticking with it!

My Program:
Following a balanced nutrition plan and tracking calories and macros.
Exercise: I am currently in physical therapy and am limited as to what I can do right now, but I hope to soon be on the road to recovery. I want to get strong! (or as strong as my limitations will allow). Update (1/16/2019): I'm starting to recover with daily exercise and trying to get at least 6500 steps per day.

    Thank you so much for reading my blog. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to know that it helped you! I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. I know how badly that can make you feel. I can still cry about every single one I have ever lost. I have two eighteen year old's right now and I worry. If there is anything I can encourage you with please let me know!     I have been focusing on doing my nutrition journal and getting back into SP time to equal 100 point every day.

    Also Just got back into Our outdoor pool Sunday, it was kind of cold but I was able to do 20 min work out. I am working really hard to get my mom motivated to work out too. PLAN to do Sun, Tues, Fri, routine - hopeful that the weather will allow.

    So I have rather neglected my SP buddies, and all my regular e-mail friends too.
