I'm so many things right now, I can't keep track of them all. Most of all, I'm just an average woman, trying to keep it all together. I'm a wife, mother, student, teacher, and maybe (just maybe!) a little bit of a sassy bad girl.

The photograph that I'm using for my profile picture is Alice Roosevelt Longworth, the older daughter of Theodore Roosevelt. Although in some ways she was a very unhappy person, her raw hunger for life and new experiences, and her ability to take those experiences and wring every drop of life and every lesson out of them is something that I admire and strive to emulate.

Fitness Minutes: 2,584

My Goals:
Mostly not to die at 61 like my dad. I have hereditarily high-cholesterol and I'm over-weight by about 60 pounds. I'm working hard at reducing the weight and the cholesterol points!

My goals include reducing my cholesterol by 120 points and losing at least 50 pounds. I also want to be able to keep up with my extraordinarily active son. I would also like to be able to live my life without the help of anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds.

My Program:
Swimming 5X week: three days for 30 minutes, two days for 60 minutes.

Strength training: Adding this gradually and slowly.
