I'm 59 years old and still fighting the weight. Thanks to Sparkpeople I'm not as heavy as I wasa few years ago. I still have a long way to go - but I know I have a support group and I know they are waiting patiently for me.

My Goals:
To be that old lady that everyone marvels at because she still does her own cleaning, mowing, gardening, canning, etc. To be the old lady that still travels and enjoys life. To be the old lady that still had the energy to volunteer to help others. You know - you've seen her. :)

My Program:
-Eat sensible meals and stay within my program calorie range.
-No dieting - just healthy eating and portion control.
-Workout at least 5 days a week for a minimum of 20 minutes
-Increase my workout time and intensity as I gain muscle and lose weight.
-Check in to Sparkpeople as often as I can to record both my nutrition and exercise.
- Blog more and follow my friend feed to stay in touch with others who want to help me be healthy!

Personal Information:
My name is Sue, I live in northern Wisconsin and I am the mother of 4, and a grandmother to 5 plus one stepgranddaugher.
I love my flower gardens and I have food gardens also. I can veggies, jam, fruit and venison. I sew when the mood strikes me also.

Other Information:
I have gone part time from work - however, when I work it is generally 72 hrs. per week for anywhere from 5 - 7 weeks at a time.
I have much more to lose then shows up on my ticker - however - I want to start with a goal for the year that I feel is realistic, and if I do better - wonderful!
